Brief:

To space plan, design, deliver and install a canteen area and breakout space.

Bench, dining and poseur tables with accompanying seating for 250+ Students.

Project:

In 2018 Bohunt Academy Worthing opened after a large renovation in central Worthing. The client was looking for a local and reliable company to help furnish their canteen and refectory area. We were asked to come in and space plan the newly designed rooms and give various options. The brief required was to maximize the space for best use and take into account the high footfall.

Both us and the client agreed the furniture needed to be clean and durable yet still inviting enough for students and staff alike. Wipe clean laminate was picked for seating throughout the area which helps reduce cleaning time and we decided on a white ply finish.

To meet the clients busy schedule, continued use of the building was required as well as working around contractors. Delivery and installation was completed in the early hours before standard office times ensuring that the Academy could maintain normal school times without any delay. The delivery was completed by our own installation team.
