Case study - Waterscan
Brief:
To space plan, design, deliver and install offices and a breakout space.
Scope:
Offices and Workstations including individual integrated power and ergonomics needs for 40+ Staff as well as a modern breakout space.
Manufacturers:
ABL, Albion Chairs, Ocee Design LTD, Orn International and WSOF.
Project:
After dealing with West Sussex based company Waterscan for a number of years we were asked to design, space plan and supply all work and break out spaces for their Head office. It was clear from preliminary meetings that the client wanted to stray away from the more traditional office design and really bring the interiors into the modern age reflecting their new branding. Both parties agreed the furniture needed to style lead yet still have substance for a commercial environment.
The decision was made to stray away from traditional wood finishes or the sometimes over clinical white in the offices, so a light grey was picked to run through-out all offices in the building which perfectly accompany the blues of the company’s corporate colours on the walls and seating. In the large break-out space we wanted to create a minimalist, industrial-style look to the room yet still be inviting enough for staff and clients alike. We chose a driftwood top and raw lacquered frame for the tables.

Delivery and Install was fazed in with building works and internal cosmetic changes to allow for the client to work as normal as possible.
Overall we think the end result is a true reflection of what we originally set out to do. It was great to work with a client who had such a strong focus of how they wanted the interiors to look.
